Chibi Wolverine
I’ve been really into drawing wolverine lately. I know his costume (a la Jim Lee’s design) by heart so it’s easy for me to whip him up at any time, any place. Here are a few. I have more that I’ll post later!

The Challenge continues at Draw That Again and we are officially 6 months strong (thanks for the tip Spike!). It’s cool to think that the lot of us have lasted so long and just looking through the weeks makes me realize how far we’ve all come. People have found/are beginning to find their personal voices in how they draw, what they want to draw, what they don’t, motivations, etc. It’s a cool psychological study, har har. Just kidding.
Here’s my pic from last week of Braid, one of the best games I’ve had the honor to play. It’s simple in idea but complex in its execution which describes all things that are inherently awesome.

I’ll be coloring this for Thursday’s challenge and I’ll try to remember to take screenshots of my unnecessarily long process.
There’s this guy who sits in a cube across from me who I’ve never seen before. All I know about him is that 1) He listens to music so loudly on his headphones that he might as well listen to it on his speakers 2) He curses loudly when he panics but usually it’s over something trivial 3) He is sick and has been hacking up a lung for the past week and 4) Hearing him swallow his phlegm every 5 minutes makes me want to die.
Here’s how I see him in my head. I should have been meaner but there’s always tomorrow.

I wanted to post more in the new year so I thought I’d put in some more doodles. It takes a lot of work to make complete drawings so this will be a good start.
What a few ppl did over vacation last week:

And I’ve been playing Uncharted 2 for the last few weeks so I’ve been drawing a ton of fanart. So here’s co-op Uncharted fanart!

And round her waist she wore a silver-mounted green morocco-surrogate belt, bulging(for Lenina was not a freemartin) with the regular supply of contraceptives.
“Perfect!” cried Fanny enthusiastically. She could never resist Lenina’s charm for long. “And what a perfectly sweet Malthusian belt!”
“I simply must get one like it,” said Fanny.
One of my favorite scenes in Brave New World. There’s something interesting about mirrors and how they change your perspective about things. I wasn’t really planning it, but it’s interesting what happened.

An ode to Jim Lee. The original pencils I copied were his but the inks are my doing, which is explains why I can understand why it kinda doesn’t look like his work anymore. A FUSION.

I found some Oekaki oldies while I was looking through my art folders today. I think they’re like drawing on post-its except it’s all digital. The site that I’d draw on is probably dead now but maybe I’ll look into hosting one.
Sorry, I’ve been away. Here’s a new one.
I thought this would be a backwards story about a robot rebuilding his humanity and the other robots are not agreeable about it. Hence the war. Feelings like pain can be turned on and off like switches in their world so impaling the hero should hurt him much more than the other robots. I drew that pipe too long so even though I intended for him to impale himself to kill the others, it looks like he was impaled and then decided to impale others. I’m open to either option because I think they’re both brutal actions.
Well, I’m not sure where the story’s going, but that’s what I was thinking about when I drew this.

Last week’s challenge was “Disney Princesses.” I was in a rush, and when I am. I revert to this style–big headed people. It’s faster because I don’t have to think about proportion… I just have to make sure the faces are emotive and that the bodies are in dynamic enough to not be paper dolls. Still fun to draw tho.
